Claude Desktop, ChatGPT, Cursor, Manus and any client that implements the Model Context Protocol.

Do I need to host anything?

No. The client launches @apif2f/mcp locally through npx and it calls https://api.apif2f.com/v1 with your key.

Can an agent send messages without approval?

Only if you issue a key with messages:write scope. Read-only keys cannot change anything on F2F.
